1. Overview

MoonBearing calculates the Moon's bearing, altitude, and phase from your current (or a chosen) location and displays them on a compass. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

2. Data Collection

MoonBearing does not require an account and does not collect any personally identifiable information. Specifically:

• No account registration or sign-in is required.
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs are used.
• No advertising is shown.
• Your device's location is used on-device only, to calculate the Moon's current direction and altitude from where you are. This location is not transmitted anywhere by the app.
• When you search for a place by name (a Pro feature), that text is sent to Apple's geocoding service (via the CLGeocoder API) to determine its coordinates. The same service is used in reverse to look up a short place name for your current location. This geocoding traffic is the only network communication the app makes. MoonBearing does not operate its own servers and has no access to this data beyond what Apple's service returns; how Apple handles this request is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
• The optional Pro unlock is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple's App Store (StoreKit). MoonBearing does not receive or store any payment information.

3. Data Storage

Your settings, any date/location you've customized, and the history of places you've searched are stored only on your device using the iOS standard storage (UserDefaults). This data is never transmitted off your device by the app.

4. Data Deletion

All data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app from your device.

5. Children's Privacy

This app does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.

1. 概要

MoonBearingは、現在地（または指定した場所）から見た月の方位・高度・満ち欠けを計算し、コンパスの上に表示するアプリです。お客様のプライバシーを大切にします。

2. データの収集

本アプリはアカウント登録を必要とせず、個人を特定できる情報を収集することはありません。

• アカウント登録・ログイン機能はありません。
• 分析ツールやクラッシュレポートSDKは使用していません。
• 広告は表示されません。
• 端末の位置情報は、現在地から見た月の方位・高度を計算するために端末内でのみ使用され、本アプリが外部へ送信することはありません。
• 場所を地名で検索する際（Pro機能）、入力した文字列は緯度経度を取得するためApple社のジオコーディングサービス（CLGeocoder API）に送信されます。同じ仕組みを逆方向にも使用し、現在地の簡単な地名を取得します。これらのジオコーディング通信が、本アプリが行う唯一のネットワーク通信です。本アプリ自体はサーバーを保有しておらず、Appleのサービスから返される情報以外にアクセスすることはありません。この際の情報の取り扱いはAppleのプライバシーポリシーに準じます。
• Pro機能の購入（買い切りのアプリ内課金）はApple社のApp Store（StoreKit）が処理します。本アプリが決済情報を受け取ったり保存したりすることはありません。

3. データの保存

設定値、指定した日付・場所、検索した場所の履歴は、お客様の端末内のみに保存されます（iOS 標準のUserDefaults を使用）。本アプリがこのデータを端末外へ送信することはありません。

4. データの削除

アプリをアンインストールすると、すべてのデータは完全に削除されます。

5. お子様のプライバシー

本アプリは13歳未満のお子様から意図的に情報を収集することはありません。

6. ポリシーの変更

本ポリシーは予告なく変更される場合があります。変更後はこのページに掲載します。
